FAQ
I am a brand looking for private label options, where do I start?
What if I don't provide my own artwork?
What's the difference between organic and natural?
The term “organic” can only be used on products that are grown and produced without pesticides, and other harmful chemicals. Products that host the USDA Organic Seal are produced under the high standards set forth by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. There is no legal definition of what the term “natural” means.
Natural foods can include organic foods, but not all natural foods are organic. Look for products with the USDA Organic seal and you’ll be making the right choice for your health and the environment.
Do you test your products on animals?
We do not test our products on animals and our suppliers have all verified that no animal testing has been performs on our ingredients. We became Leaping Bunny Certified in 2020.
Do you use nut products in your facility?
Oils and butters derived from nuts that we use in our facility include: almond oil, Brazil nut oil, mongongo oil, coconut oil, hazelnut oil, macadamia nut oil and shea nut butter. Our facility is cGMP certified which requires us to follow strict processes for cleaning to prevent cross contamination.
What is the shelf life of lip balm?
Our non-SPF lip balms have a 2-year shelf life and our SPF balms have a 3-year shelf life.
Where is your vitamin E derived from?
It is sunflower derived. It is GMO free.
Is the Eco Lips lip balm you sell the same as what I see at the store?
The quality is the same, but the formulas are different. We're unable to private label our Eco Lips branded products.
What is the melting point of your lip balms?
140-145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do you produce vegan products?
Is there lanolin in your beeswax?
No, our beeswax is pure and has not been mixed with lanolin. However, we do use it in our Pet Care line (Nose Balm and Paw Balm).
Are your products gluten free?
While we do not use gluten or wheat gluten as an ingredient in our products, we do not test for the presence of gluten and are not a gluten-free certified facility.
